Therapeutic Approach
A strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective psychotherapy. I strive to build warmth and trust from our first point of contact. Utilizing a trauma-informed approach that is grounded in person-centered psychotherapy, I draw on attachment theory, mindfulness, and interpersonal neurobiology. I take a holistic mind-body approach to wellness and weave this through all of my offerings. It is my goal to help you grow in self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-efficacy. I will listen to you and be a source of unconditional positive regard, empathy, and encouragement. Together, we will discover what you want out of life, both presently and in the future, and work towards those goals.

Populations Served
-
Children
In my work with children, I utilize expressive art activities, yoga, and play to facilitate the processing of complex experiences and emotions. I also teach mindfulness and the basics of neuroscience to help my youngest clients grow in self-awareness and emotional regulation.
-
Adolescents
With teens, a therapeutic relationship built on trust and mutual respect is key. I meet them where they are and help unpack the complexities of the modern adolescent experience. Through the therapeutic process, they grow in authenticity, develop self-compassion, and learn healthy coping skills.
-
Adults
With a flexible, person-centered approach, I’m able to adapt treatment to each client and their unique goals. Together, we will work to heal past hurts, create deeper meaning in the present, and work towards a limitless future.
